14th Womens Euro - Switzerland 2025
in eight Swiss cities July 2-27 .. 9 teams from League A - Switzerland, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Netherlands and Spain
are in the hat for the finals draw in Lausanne on Dec 16. That leaves 7 spots to fill, with Scotland Women among 28 countries facing a further 4 ko ties. They are
seeded in rd1 of Path 2 and will be away first leg against Hungary. Assuming a win,
they will then be unseeded and home first leg against Montenegro or Finland - Provisional finals schedule
Scotland Women will also look forward to a return to Nations League `A` and
a much tougher run towards World Cup in Brazil 2027 (June 24 - July 25),
remembering they lost out in the last one to R.Ireland .. Despite expansion
to 32 teams. it is still harder to reach in Europe than a Euro, with just 11 nations heading for South America .. and SWNT are not in good shape.
